Welcome Letter

Welcome to PUSHcare

Dear PUSH Family,

Welcome to our electronic “PUSHcare Benefits Guide”– a testament to our dedication to your well-being. This isn’t just a website; PUSHcare is a convenient and accessible roadmap to a healthier, more secure future for you and your loved ones, designed to put you at ease and in control of your benefits.

PUSHcare Your Roadmap to Exceptional Care & Benefits

This “PUSHcare Guide” is your comprehensive resource for understanding and managing your benefits. It’s designed to empower you with knowledge about the extensive benefits PUSH offers as we continue our mission to provide you with the best benefits in the industry.

Share the Care

We encourage you to share this Guide with your family.  Why?  Because when we say your family, we mean your whole family.  Your spouse, your kids, your dependents – their well-being is part of our mission, too. We want you to feel valued and part of our caring community.

Your Next Steps

  • Learn about your benefits: Take time to explore the wealth of options available to you.
  • Attend a Monthly Virtual Info Session: Join our HR team for an in-depth look at our benefit offerings.
  • Begin Your Enrollment: Fill out a enrollment form with your benefit elections or changes and turn it in to human resources.

You can enroll in the benefits when you first join the PUSH team or during the annual Open Enrollment period, which occurs each November.  During the Open Enrollment period, you can enroll or change your benefit elections, and your benefit elections will be effective on January 1st.

Please take the time to review this information carefully. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our dedicated HR Team is here to help and support you.

Benefit Basics

Who is Eligible?

If you’re a full-time employee, you are eligible to enroll in the benefits outlined in this guide. Full-time employees are those who work 30 or more hours per week. In addition, legal dependent family members are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage.

How to Enroll

Are you ready to enroll? The first step is to review your current benefits. Did you move recently or get married? Verify your personal information and make any necessary changes.

Once your information is up to date, it’s time to make your benefit elections. The decisions you make during open enrollment can have a significant impact on your life and finances, so it is important to weigh your options carefully. See the next page for more information.

When to Enroll

Open Enrollment

Annual Open Enrollment begins on November 14th and runs through November 30th. The benefits you choose during Open Enrollment will become effective on January 1st. Remember, you cannot make changes after the Annual Open Enrollment unless you have experienced a Qualifying Event.

New Hires

Coverage for New Hires begins on the 1st day of the month following 60 days of employment.  You must enroll in coverage within the 30 days of your effective date, or you cannot enroll or make changes in your benefit elections until the next Open Enrollment unless you have experienced a Qualifying Event.

How to Make Changes

Unless you experience a life-changing qualifying event, you cannot make changes to your benefits until the next open enrollment period. Qualifying events include things like:

  • Marriage, divorce, or legal separation
  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Change in child’s dependent status
  • Death of a spouse, child, or other qualified dependent
  • Change in residence
  • Change in employment status or a change in coverage under another employer-sponsored plan

You can anticipate certain life-changing events, while others are unexpected, but it is important to plan ahead whenever possible. Under the guidelines set by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), you can typically make changes to your health insurance plan within 60 days leading up to — or 60 days following — a qualifying life event.
